This page covers the niska.ai website.
It describes what we collect when you visit niska.ai, write to us, or request a gated document — nothing more. It does not describe a client deployment. Each Niska deployment runs inside a firm's own environment, under its own agreement; that posture is described on Custody, not here.
What we collect
Site analytics
Google Analytics (GA4, delivered through Firebase). It runs in production only, and it records page views. There are no user accounts on this site, so nothing it collects is tied to a login.
The contact form
Name, email, company, the topic you select, and your message — submitted through Netlify Forms when you write to us from /contact.
Gated document requests
Name, email, organization, the NDA version you accepted, your IP address, your browser's user agent, and the time you accepted — recorded through Netlify Forms as the record of your acceptance when you request a gated document.
Newsletter
Your email address, if you subscribe at /newsletter or elsewhere on the site. It is stored in our database and used only to send the letter. Unsubscribe any time by writing to us — there is no confirmation email or automated unsubscribe link yet.
Hosting and server logs
Netlify hosts this site and generates the ordinary server logs any host produces to serve pages and keep the site running.
Two cookies, both functional.

- Set by Google Analytics (GA4) in production only, to record the page views described above.
- paper_session
- A functional cookie we set ourselves after you accept the NDA for a gated document. It is httpOnly (page scripts cannot read it), lasts seven days, and exists only to keep your access to that one document active.
No advertising cookies are set on this site.
How we use it, who we share it with, retention, your choices, and changes

How we use it
To respond when you write to us, to operate and improve this site, to keep a record of NDA acceptances for gated documents, and to send the letter to the address you gave us if you subscribe.

Who we share it with
Service providers only: Netlify, which hosts the site and stores form submissions, and Google Analytics, which processes page-view data. We do not sell personal information, and we disclose it beyond these providers only if the law requires it.

Retention
We keep what we collect for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for. NDA acceptance records are kept as the record of the agreement you made to access a gated document.

Your choices
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies; doing so may affect features like gated document access.

We revise this page as the site changes, and we update the date at the top of this note when we do.
