Story

Every firm already runs on a model of itself.

It’s scattered.

How work moves, who owns what, which conventions hold: every firm runs on rules like these. Most of them live in documents, procedures and inboxes, spread across systems that don’t know about each other.

So we build it.

Niska reads what your firm knows and builds the model: your rules and conventions, a map of your systems, and the clients, projects, contracts, people and deadlines that connect them. We call it Taju, Finnish for grasp.

Then we build the software on it.

Document management, customer relationship management, task management, workflow: each one rebuilt, process by process, on the same model. Each module starts out knowing your firm.

It works where your firm works.

Niska’s modules and the systems you keep connect to the model, and the agents working in them work through it.

It gets smarter.

Because the model sees your firm’s work, it learns from it. The longer a firm runs on Niska, the more Niska knows about how it works.

The name.

niska is Finnish for the nape of the neck, where every signal between the brain and the body passes. It is also a beam that carries load, and the head of the rapids, where a river gathers before it moves. Taju is Finnish for grasp.

Where it runs.

Your cloud account, a Niska-managed cloud, or your own servers.

What we won’t claim.

That we hold SOC 2: it’s planned. That Taju writes to your other systems: that’s next. That it never makes mistakes.

Who we are.

Niska was founded by Tucker Peters and Leo Roberto.
